Field Scattering Analysis of Cylindrical Spatially Dispersive Metasurfaces

چکیده
A semi-analytical technique to simulate spatially dispersive (SD) cylindrical metasurfaces is proposed and demonstrated. This method based on the well-known Eigenfunction Expansion (EFE) extends work of [1],[2] by integrating Extended GSTCs into this pre-existing specific surfaces. then applied several composed wire dipole unit cells, successfully verified against commercial full-wave simulations. Finally, using a case closed metasurface shell, usefulness EFE-SD shown illustrate effect thickness scattered fields inside outside shell.

متن کاملStudy of the Parameters Affecting Cylindrical Cloak Using Dispersive FDTD
In this paper, an ideal cylindrical metamaterial invisibility cloak with infinite-length which its electric permittivity and magnetic permeability mapped to the Drude dispersion model is simulated. The sinusoidal plane waves with microwave frequencies used as sources. To this end, the dispersive finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD) used with Convolutional Perfectly Matched Layered (CPML)...
متن کاملHelmholtz Pulse Propagation & Spatially-Dispersive Light
We present the first detailed account of modelling pulses in Helmholtz-type nonlinear systems with both temporal and spatial dispersion. Exact analytical solitons will be reported, and their stability examined through mathematical analysis and computer simulations. © 2010 Optical Society of America OCIS codes: (190.5530) Pulse propagation and temporal solitons; (190.4400) Nonlinear optics, mate...
متن کاملNear-field surface plasmons on quasicrystal metasurfaces
Excitation and manipulation of surface plasmons (SPs) are essential in developing cutting-edge plasmonic devices for medical diagnostics, biochemical spectroscopy and communications. The most common approach involves designing an array of periodic slits or grating apertures that enables coupling of the incident light to the SP modes. In recent years, plasmonic resonances, including extraordinar...
متن کاملThe Study of Improvement of Dispersive Soil Using Magnetic Field
In this study, the feasibility of using magnetic technology to reduce the dispersion of soil has been investigated. The reference treatment was potable water and 3 magnetic water devices (with different magnetic intensities) were used for magnetizing the potable water. The results showed that the magnetic field has a significant effect in order of 5 percent on increasing of magnesium concentrat...
